My name is Kelly. I've been playing drums since 1993. Growing up in Los Angeles, I was in quite a few bands, where I played hundreds of shows and did a good amount of studio recording. All Asians inherently know how to play violin. Hahaha jk. I wish though! RN I’m all over the place. All Vic firth. But for punk/fast stuff I’m using 5A. For softer stuff/ballads I’m using 7A and for solid rock I’m using either 5B or 3A
Does the vocal mist keep your vocal cords hydrated all day long when you use it?
In my experience, it doesn’t. I’ll do a recording session and notice my voice/throat start to dry out after around 2 hours or so. At their NAMM booth back in ‘22 they mentioned it’s best to reuse it between live sets say for instance if you’re in a cover band.
